Library's Digital Collection Grows With Hoopla Flex

Lakewood Public Library’s digital collection continues to grow. Patrons now have an even bigger selection of eBooks and downloadable audiobooks through the Hoopla Digital app and website. For those who are unfamiliar, Hoopla is a digital platform available on a computer, smartphone, tablet or smart TV anywhere with an Internet connection. Hoopla offers instant, streaming access to thousands of eBooks, downloadable audiobooks, graphic novels, movies, music and television shows.

The Hoopla Flex collection can be accessed on the same Hoopla platform but gives access to even more eBooks and downloadable audiobooks.  Unlike Hoopla Instant titles that multiple patrons can have checked out at the same time, Hoopla Flex titles are a one-copy-one-user model, so if the title is checked out, the patron will need to place a hold on the title. Library patrons can borrow up to ten digital titles through Hoopla each month, and an additional five items through Hoopla Flex at any given time.
