Trials For Hope Sock Hop Fundraiser

On Saturday September 22nd, 2018 Trials For Hope will be hosting our Sock Hop at American Legion Post 703 at 7667 York Rd in Parma to raise funds, donations and awareness for our outreach programs. The event will be a dinner (meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetables, bread, salad and dessert) along with music, raffles, door prizes, side boards and 50/50. Drink tickets will be available for purchase. Tickets are $20/adult and $10/children under 12. Doors open at 5 pm.

Trials for Hope is a nonprofit community outreach program that started in 2010 in Lakewood, Ohio with a donation of personal care items that were trial size. With that, the name of the organization was born. Over the past eight years, our outreach has grown from helping a few people to helping over 800 people each month and over 3,000 per year. Our goal is to improve people's quality of life by providing food and essentials short-term while empowering them with resources to help themselves in the future.

Some of our outreach programs include community meals, farmers markets, homeless tent camp outreach, backpacks, food drop-offs and personal care.

We provide approximately 800 personal care bags and 150 food bags as well as clothing, diapers, medical supplies and survival items per month, to the homeless, elderly, homebound, children and others in need in the Greater Cleveland area.
