Northwesterly Celebrates Dr. Seuss's Birthday With Grant Elementary

Residents of Northwesterly Assisted Living celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 29 alongside Grant Elementary School’s first and second grade class. The children, accompanied by teachers and chaperons came to Northwesterly to partake in the festivities which included a “green eggs & ham breakfast,” The Cat in the Hat Video, and story time in the afternoon where our residents read Dr. Seuss stories to the children. The kids of Grant Elementary shared with residents what they were learning in school prior to being treated with a Dr. Seuss style Cat in the Hat cake! Michael Saunders, Northwesterly Assisted Living’s Life Enrichment Coordinator said, “This was such a fun event, children and adults of all ages enjoyed themselves throughout the day.”
