new update and meeting time.

Postby Lynn Rodemann » Sun May 27, 2007 7:10 pm

so... the meeting we are going to shoot for is Sat the 2nd at 10am

updates on some of the issues...
-Tomatos are replanted as well as cucumbers
-Dan got the urine and it will be dispersed on monday
-I have 8 new melon plants and i will put them and the new pumpkins in on tuesday.
-watering is going well

what we still need
-lots of cages/poles for supporting beans and tomatos.
-someone to weed wack in between the beds. ( I have one but it needs to be done)
-some sort of contraption to have the cucumbers to grow up.. any one got and laying around?
-the compost and cinderblocks picked up (although I think Karlyn and Dan have worked something out)

Let me know if sat doesnt work for all yall

Anything else?
Halla

Compost and cinder blocks

Postby Karlyn Green » Mon May 28, 2007 12:14 pm

Well I called suzi and she never called back. maybe sometime this week I can pick up compost. Also perhaps cinderblocks. That will definately be a chore, so if anybody wants a chance to build some muscles...

10am is good for me. I will spread the good word..

Well, I can't make saturday afterall, unless it is earlier? I have to work it looks like. And, Mike and Dan will be outta town (at least that is what mike told me), and Schaeffer I assume will be working. I apologize. I can just read lynns 'meeting minutes' after the fact, but I would love to be present if possible. SUnday could work... but I am not expecting the wind to change directions just for me...

I could stop by for an hour and so and weed whack and stuff. Let me know when the set day and time is. I'm going to be pretty busy with a few other projects but I want to make time to come out and help.

Lynn,
Let me know what time(s) good for you on Sat and Sun and I we can make an appointment to pick up the weed whacker and clean things up a bit.

Also, I am not sure if there is space available but we have some carrots and greens that won't fit at home that I could bring and add to the community garden.

How water situation there? Is there a source?

Thanks,
Rob
