AT&T can go @^%!%& itself

I moved 15 blocks west 8 weeks ago; they moved my phone number, but as of this date, still cannot disconnect my DSL at the old address and re-connect at the new. All this has transpired, a U-verse box 30 yards from my new front porch and AT&T's service site says THAT service is also unavailable. Anyone live on West Clifton/in western Lakewood that uses an alternative high-speed provider? 115 years in business and they still haven't mastered acceptable customer service.
