We have the LPL providing WiFi at Madison park via the Madison Branch. Any thought to either the city or library doing the same thing for Lakewood Park?
How great would it be to just throw out a blanket on the lawn and do some homework or enjoy some relaxing net surfing along the new boardwalk by Lake Erie?
WiFi at Lakewood Park?

LPL is able to provide WiFi at Madison Park becasue of the luck of the locations. It wasn't a huge step to provide the funding necessary for a fairly minimal expansion of the WiFi footprint. The same is not true of Lakewood Park. There is no natural ability to expand the Main Branch's foot print to cover Lakewood Park.
Not that I don't wholeheartedly agree with you. It would be great. There's enough of us out there that would like to see this happen.

I believe there is talk of using Lakewood Park for a test of the SBC Lightspeed Wireless.
I could be wrong.
