NASA Saturday Night Launch Will Be Visible In Lakewood!

Postby Jim O'Bryan » Fri May 07, 2021 7:52 am

Well that is if the weather clears up as it is supposed to.

The KiNET-X sounding rocket launching from Wallops is now scheduled for no earlier than Saturday, May 8, at 8:02 p.m. EDT.

Here is where people could see this rare Mid-Atlantic night launch.

Lakewood should be able to see it for up to 90 seconds.

For those still following, the rocket was supposed to go last night.

It would have been a perfect night to see the launch up here, but in the Bahamas it was cloudy, and was called off after 2 15 minutes hold.

They will try a fifth time tonight.

It looks like one more day, restoring the correctness to the original title of this thread.
It's usually better to get these things right rather than meet a timetable.
