This is a forty minute read but well worth the effort.

The section on humanized mice and gain of function research is ...

Here Is A PDF Copy

For my own convenience, I downloaded the article via PDF.

Yesterday the link was so "unsteady" that I could not access the article to read it.

Pretty sure Nicholas Wade has an agenda. He’s highly educated and certainly can make his arguments sound scientific and objective. But he’s known to come to an entirely invalid conclusion, albeit one that sure sounds good.

I’d take him with a grain of salt.

We have much greater technology to specifically identify pathogens, and count the number of incidents, and then communicate this information. As well as many more ways to read about it than the weekly newspaper. Or watch reports about it than the big three network television news on the old rabbit ears antenna tv for half an hour at a specific time of the day. It might be arguable how this has affected the rationality of american culture, but it certainly has increased the anxiety.

The good news is conventional flu cases and fatalities are down. This may be due to better hygiene, or the shutdowns in general. Who knows.

Origin of Covid — Following the Clues by Nicholas Wade May, 2021 Medium.pdf

From the outset, the author was clear that he was writing about his conjectures based on the information available to him.

I see the work of professional scientists and environmental engineers everyday in my law practice. I found this article to be well-written and informative to a lay reader. I read the article with a very keen eye.

I'm sure these 37 pages are in the hands of his publisher as a book proposal (and that of others science writers as well with theirs) on this essential topic.
