homelessness

in response to Mike Francis criticizing Lakewood's "progressiveness"--that was very unfair, as well as uninformed. Did you criticize your former neighborhoods for their lack of compassion (and I'm sure that Lakewood does, or did, more than them)? Up until a few years ago, a homeless person could eat at 25 community meals a month, just in Lakewood alone, until reduced due to lack of attendance by the "hungry". Plus the monthly pantries at several churches, the produce giveaways during warm months, and during winter several churches did open up shelter. So your Fox news criticism is unwarranted.
