He embodies a musical gift that has all but disappeared from the African American musical landscape. After playing harp for the late Delta guitar legend Robert Lockwood, Jr. and traveling the world, Wallace Coleman has come home to play songs that preserve the spirit of Chess Records and reflect his own storied life. Tumblebooks are animated, talking picture books that teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love.
