One Tank Trip #37 - Manchester Farms, Lakeview, Ohio

Postby Jim O'Bryan » Tue Aug 21, 2018 9:32 am

About 2 and a half hours from Lakewood lies Manchester Farms. A working corn farm that has been in the family for 5 generations and continues to this day with farming and innovation.

It is also home to the largest round barn east of the Mississippi.

The spectacular round barn was built by Horace Duncan in 1908 on the J.H. Manchester farm in Auglaize County, Ohio.

It is on the Ohio historic marker list.

And tops the list of top 5 barns in Ohio.

The massive farm house.

Along the way are Seneca Caverns. Aka "The crack in the Earth."

Along the way are many amazing homes and buildings from the early days of life in Ohio.

On the 12-17 of September is the Wyandot County Fair in its 167th year!

A great drive, and good fun.
