All

I just got off the phone with Paul, the city has given them the all clear,
and they will be open tomorrow!

Let's welcome them Lakewood style.

Woohoo. We will be heading down there after soccer tomorrow. We need some plants and shopping local is one of my favorite things to do.

I planted brussel sprouts for the first time last year and had excellent results. I harvested about 30 pounds well into November. They are easy to freeze.

So those of you who've been to the new garden center, how have you liked it? I might head there next weekend.

Just a head's up that LEAF is organizing an organic, heirloom plant sale to be held at Lakewood Garden Center this Saturday, May 15 at 3:00. Come on out and support our new garden center, some local growers and LEAF. The weather is supposed to be beautiful!
