Group Meditation at Songtsen Gampo Buddhist Center
10:30 AM - 12:00 AM
Most Sundays (10:30am-Noon)*

Learn and practice meditation to calm the mind and develop compassion.

We do various practices including Mindfulness of Breathing Meditation (Shamatha-Vipassana) and The Practice of Exchange (Tonglen), a meditation designed specifically for developing a compassionate heart. Suitable for beginners as well as more experienced practitioners.

As each session includes meditation instruction and a Dharma talk led by Ani Palmo, this is a perfect opportunity to learn the basics of Buddhism for those who are curious or would like a refresher.

Come sit with us or join us on Zoom!

*The FIRST Sunday of the month is reserved for Family Meditation.

Sunday Program: Questions of How and Why
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Thomas Paine long ago spoke of Moral Infidelity in his book, "The Age of Reason". He defined it as not about belief or unbelief but claiming to believe what one didn't believe. I found myself in that position when I was 20 years old and knew it was time for a transformation, time to change how I looked at questions of how and why. Our service will be led by a member of our congregation.
