Variations: New works by Patty Flauto
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
This solo exhibit invites viewers to explore the concept of “real/not real” through the lens of abstraction. The artist’s work prompts contemplation, discovery, and original thought by
forgoing literal representation in favor of the abstract. The beauty of abstraction lies not in deciphering a clear path through the artwork but in embracing the pleasure of wandering
through it and finding joy in the journey of being lost.

The pieces in this exhibit draw inspiration from the perceptual landscape, capturing nature through the prisms of memory, sensory experience, and artistic interpretation. The compositions are dynamic and unpredictable, with elements that collide, balance, dangle, and hint at unexpected outcomes and intentional disparity through infinite variations.

Artists proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge in Cleveland, a home away from home for people facing cancer and their caregivers when cancer treatment is far away. https://www.cancer.org/.../patient-lodging/hope-lodge.html
