West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church is excited to announce that it will hold its annual Outdoor Animal Blessing on Saturday, May 13 from 10 am until noon. This popular event will be located in our church courtyard at 20401 Hilliard Blvd. in Rocky River.

Members of the public are invited to bring your pet to an outdoor, walk-through blessing here on the church grounds. There will be a station for your pet to receive a special blessing from Rev. Anthony Makar, a treat station, a photo station, a place to remember the pets we have loved and lost, music & more! We will also be collecting donations for City Dogs, a local animal charity.

Be sure your pet is leashed or in a carrier. We hope to see you there! (In case of rain, the event will be cancelled.)

West Shore Film Series presents documentary "Right To Harm"
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Through the riveting stories of five American communities, 'Right to Harm' exposes the devastating public health impact that factory farming has on many of our country's most disadvantaged citizens. Known formally as Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations - or CAFOs - these facilities produce millions of gallons of untreated waste that destroys the health, environment, and quality of life for everyone in the area. Fed up with the lack of regulation, these citizens turned activists band together from across the country to demand justice. (Film Length: 75 minutes This film not rated Free Parking)

The film series is free and open to the public (donations gratefully accepted).
