The Sounds of St James Concert Series Featuring The Cleveland Consort of Voices

An octect of A Capella voices drawn from Oberlin's Conservatory of Music, Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, Cleveland Opera, Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland Chamber Chorus and St Paul's Episcopal Choir in Cleveland Heights; all led by award winning Steven Plank, Director of Oberlin's Collegium Musicum and Professor in the Department of Musicology. The concert series was created by Adam Chlebek the Musical Director at the historic St. James Church in Lakewood, Ohio. Adam is a Dean's Scholarship winner who has also captured Second Place in the Taylor Organ Competition 2022-2023. He is a student of Jonathan Moyer and completing his Bachelor's Degree in Organ Performance.
This extraordinary Renaissance poliphony of Voices singing music of Brahms, Bach, Moyer, Mouton and more will be further enhanced by the sumptuous acoustics of the glorious architecture of St James Church.
The concert is Free - Suggested Donation to Support the Performers is $15. Light refreshments will follow the concert and the book of the history of the art and architecture of St James Church will be available. Please watch for information regarding future concerts.
