Community Meeting on HB434, A Radioactive Taxpayer Subsidy Bill

Ohio House Bill 434 passed the Ohio House and is scheduled for Senate Energy & Public Utilities Committee Meetings late May and early June.
Waste Not Alliance is joining a coalition of Ohio organizations to oppose HB434. HB434 would be an expensive, unaccountable and radioactive waste distraction from real solutions to Ohio’s energy efficiency & renewables, sustainable economic development, and environmental justice needs.
We will discuss HB434 in detail, give updates on so called ‘advanced’ nuclear reactors and plan next steps.
