Women Honoring Women 2022

The Lakewood Women’s Club Announces the Nominees for their 5th Annual “Women Honoring Women” fundraiser and celebration.


Congratulations to The Community Leader nominees, Emily Christescu, Laura Webb, Lizz Maxwell, Sara Kass, Sarah Kepple, and Sarah Rintamaki.


The Community Leader Award honors a woman who has demonstrated excellence in leadership through deep local understanding and outstanding initiative. She consistently advances community-driven, innovative, and sustainable solutions to the region's most pressing challenges, and service to either one organization or a variety of volunteer activities.

Congratulations to The Business Leader nominees, Casey Lewis, Julie Warren, Nicole Dzurko, and Maureen Koopman.


The Business Leader Award honors local Business Leaders and will recognize a woman who reflects quality and dedication in the operation of a small business in Lakewood; or, who plays a key role in establishing and implementing an economic development vision in Lakewood. She serves as a role model and participates in community affairs and activities contributing time, effort, and resources. She is an agent for change who shows creativity in business decisions or in the development of specific products or services, and who will continue progress.

The Women Honoring Women Celebration will take place on September 22nd 2022 at 6 PM at Georgetown/Vosh at 1414 Riverside Drive in Lakewood.



We hope to see you there to have some fun, get inspired, and recognize the outstanding charitable service and economic enrichment in the Lakewood community.

The theme for this year’s event is ART + MUSIC. At the event, we will host a silent & online auction that features local art that has been created & donated by women artist(s). In addition, our M/C and musical talent for the night will be Tracy Marie, a Lakewood singer/songwriter/guitarist who has performed and produced a wide array of music over the years.


Doors open at 6 pm and drinks and food are included in the ticket price.
