Skylight Park at Tower City Center Grand Opening Celebration
12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Get ready for a weekend full of celebration! Free festivities include:

•CVNP’s “Misunderstood Critters & Creatures” – From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., expand your heart and your mind with park rangers from CVNP at the “Misunderstood Critters & Creatures” demonstration. Interact with and learn about how critters that are commonly seen as pests – bats, bees, possums, etc. – are crucial to the ecosystem and should be celebrated.

•Live Muralists from #VoicesofCLE – Watch as local artists work their magic right before your eyes during a live mural painting session. Murals from #VoicesofCLE artists will also be on display and feature an interactive chalkboard for guests to share messages and pictures for all to see.

•Free Roller Skating Rink – Lace up and get ready to skate with Rink-in-the-Box in Tower Court! Whether it’s your first time on skates or you’re a seasoned pro, all are welcome to take a spin on the rink.

•Balloon Artists, Face Painting, Fortune Tellers and More – Step right up and choose from tons of unique designs at Tower City’s balloon art, face painting and caricature stations. Afterwards, get a glimpse into your future from one of the fortune tellers or learn some new tricks from the jugglers here to entertain.

•Music and Entertainment Performances – Check out Cleveland’s hottest talent with performances from ListenCLE and appearances by the Cleveland Cavaliers PowerHouse Dance Team!

•Tower City’s Prize Wheel and Giveaways – Give the wheel a spin and win prizes galore! For a chance to win even more, sign up to become a Tower City VIP by texting “TOWERCITY” to 474747 and the inside scoop on giveaways for Tower City restaurants and shops, tote bags and more!

•Movie Night in the Park (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.)

Something Rotten!

Set in 1595 the story of two brothers, who just happen to be the nemeses of a little known Mr. William Shakespeare, are desperate to write a hit play. A local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre will involve Singing, Dancing, AND Acting, all at the same time! Gasp! The brothers then decide to write a (wait for it) MUSICAL! The worlds very first musical!
