Birmingham-Southern College math students were presented awards by the college’s Department of Math and Computer Science during the 2007 Honors Day Convocation. Lakewood’s Jillian Stupiansky, a senior math major, received the Mathematics Faculty Outstanding Senior Award, which recognizes senior math majors whose interest, curiosity, talent, and diligence lead to outstanding achievement in the study of mathematics.
