Planning for a spectacular community event is well underway. Be sure your calendar is marked for Friday, November 30th, when the city’s holiday lighting ceremony returns to downtown Lakewood.

Presented through a collaborative effort between Main Street Lakewood and LakewoodAlive, the evening promises to be the start of a new community tradition, filled with bright lights, street entertainment, a visit from Santa and refreshments. Activities will take place between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., during which time Detroit Avenue will be closed from Marlowe to Arthur.
