Chiropractor Offers Unique Approach To Whole Body Care Inspired By Her Artistic Background

Local Chiropractor & Dancer Performing in Cleveland Dance Project (CDP) Show, November 23, 2019

Dr. Sara Perry of Inspired Chiropractic and Wellness takes a unique “inspired” approach to function-based care and treatment of her patients due to her extensive dance training background. She achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance from Kent State University and has performed and trained across the country as well as internationally in Italy. Her inimitable perspective of motion and movement drives the way she helps her patients achieve pain-free everyday movement goals. The heightened body awareness that Dr. Perry attained through years of professional dancing is something she strives to impart to those seeking her care in order to equip them with the necessary tools to reduce pain and optimize the function of their body.

Dr. Perry is thrilled to be able to continue dancing locally in the upcoming Cleveland Dance Project (CDP) performance on November 23, 2019. Her involvement with CDP has allowed her to not only fulfill her passion of continuing to perform and dance, but also to help co-dancers and performers with injury, pre-habilitation, post-habilitation, and all-around performance. Among the local dance community, Dr. Perry has become a resident expert on movement enhancement, injury rehabilitation, and overall functional movement. The Inspired Chiropractic and Wellness team is proud and excited about the upcoming CDP presentation and Dr. Perry’s involvement in the performance.

The Cleveland Dance Project is the largest all adult dance group in the greater Cleveland/Akron area. It aims to provide dancers, ages 18 and older, the opportunity to train, choreograph, and perform in a fun, yet professional environment. The CDP promotes making art relatable to the community, and bringing people together through dance. The CDP dance family includes everyone from the dance teacher or professional, to the person who's always wanted to boogie but never had the opportunity until now. CDP showcases include every style of dance and every shape/gender/religion/color/orientation, and ability. The CDP believes in making dance relatable to the community, embracing the talents of our local aspiring artists, and giving everyone a chance to come together to dance for Cleveland.
