Lakewood LEGO® League

For youth in kindergarten through fifth grade (caregivers welcome)

Use LPL’s collection of Lego® Bricks and your own imagination to create fabulous new structures and designs each month. No registration, but numbered tickets will be given out first-come, first-served.

Puerto Rican Water Bottle Guiro

For students in first through fifth Grade.

A guiro is a Puerto Rican percussion instrument made of a notched hollowed out gourd. Create your own water bottle guiro and join others as we play them to Latin music. Registration Required.

Learn about Chinese characters, expressions and culture in this seven-week interactive program. Registration required.

The Art of Ebru, Paper Marbling

For students in third through sixth Grade.

Ebru is a traditional Islamic and Turkish painting art that creates patterns resembling marble and other stone. Each design is a unique creation transferred to paper by a special process. Try it! Registration is required.
