Trials for Hope is a nonprofit community outreach program that started in 2010 in Lakewood, Ohio with a donation of personal care items that were trial size. With that, the name of the organization was born. Over the past eight years, our outreach has grown from helping a few people to helping over 800 people each month and over 3,000 per year. Our goal is to improve people's quality of life by providing food and essentials short-term while empowering them with resources to help themselves in the future.
Some of our outreach programs include community meals, farmers markets, homeless tent camp outreach, backpacks, food drop-offs and personal care.
We provide approximately 800 personal care bags and 150 food bags as well as clothing, diapers, medical supplies and survival items per month, to the homeless, elderly, homebound, children and others in need in the Greater Cleveland area.
We are entirely dependent upon donations (monetary as well as food and supplies) to meet the needs of the communities we serve. To learn more about Trials for Hope please visit www.trialsforhope.org and like us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pg/TrialsforHope.
I am the Board President for a Lakewood based community outreach non-profit called Trials For Hope.
