Medicare Open-Enrollment: Get Yourself Informed

The 2019 Medicare Annual Enrollment Period will run from October 15, 2018 to December 7, 2018. This is your opportunity to make changes in your Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans based on your circumstances or needs. On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, the Lakewood Division of Aging will hosting a Medicare Recertification Presentation and Workshop. Presented by the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, (OSHIIP) they will review the changes for 2019 in the most popular Medicare plans. They will also look at some of the unique features of the various plans that would make them more or less attractive to different groups of people. Following the presentation, OSHIIP staff will remain on hand to provide individual assistance for people who are wondering if they need to make changes to their plans. 

This Medicare Open-Enrollment presentation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, beginning at 10:30 AM, at the Lawther Center, 16024 Madison Ave. We serve lunch at 1145 AM, and if you are a senior, age 60+, we would love to have you stay for lunch with us.
