Skindell Is Best Choice For State Rep

Mike Skindell is ever-present in Lakewood’s community landscape. You can often catch him at local gatherings engaging with residents, working to support folks who want to make Lakewood a better place and standing his ground on the tough issues that face our city. A ubiquitous echo follows him as he makes his way around town: “Here’s my card. Let me know if you need anything.”

Mike Skindell embodies everything a public servant should aspire to be: principled, resolute, responsive, objective, and steadfast. To Mike, serving the community is an honor and a civic duty as a neighbor, a friend, and as an American citizen. As a leader, Mike moves above himself to serve the public. And, his work on our behalf continues to be focused on achievable goals directed towards realizing long-term benefits for our community. Whether it is his support of Issue 1, a bipartisan bill aimed at ensuring fair congressional districts and ending gerrymandering in Ohio, or his introduction of Senate Bill 260, which imposes an assault weapons ban in our State to better protect children in schools, it is proof-positive of Mike’s commitment to our well-being, and to a greater and safer future for Lakewood.

A hallmark of great leadership is the ability to realize that in order for us to live in prosperity as a community, responsive and measurable steps need to be taken to make sure others achieve the same goals. Time and again, Mike Skindell has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to Lakewood, demonstrating integrity in the way he carries himself as a public servant and compassion in the way he continues to serve others. He has my unwavering support and my vote on May 8th…and he should have yours, too.
