The Open Suitcase Exhibit

Commemorating Latvia's 100 years of independence, The Cleveland Latvian Welfare Association proudly presents "The Open Suitcase Exhibit." It will take place on Sunday, April 8th from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Cleveland Latvian Hall 1385 Andrews Avenue, behind the Latvian Church (the oldest church in Lakewood, originally The Church Of The Redeemer).

The exhibit will feature items those fleeing occupied Latvia during WWII managed to take with them. Unique items such as a wedding dress, sewing machine, Bible, musical instruments, jewelry, documents and much more. Attendees will also enjoy samplings of Latvian food and drink.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome at the door.
