Hospice 101: Help Is Available
Hospice provides care for individuals and families when they need it the very most. On Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 7 p.m., Nancy Miller, RN at The Hospice of the Western Reserve will visit Lakewood Public Library for an informative discussion about end-of-life and palliative care services that are available and how to access them.
For 40 years, The Hospice of the Western Reserve has been working to understand and adjust to the needs of patients, caregivers and the bereaved in Northeast Ohio. The list of services is comprehensive, from specialized care for specific illnesses such as COPD to a Pet Therapy Program. Whether physical, emotional or spiritual in nature, The Hospice of the Western Reserve strives diligently to provide for the needs of clients.
During the talk, you will learn about the wide range of services and how they are paid for, the steps for receiving care and how to get referred. The meeting takes place in the Main Basement Auditorium at 15425 Detroit Avenue.
