New Beginnings In The New Year

We are all aware that this time of year can be especially challenging for people who are experiencing grief and loss.  It sometimes does not seem to matter how much time has gone by; the feeling can still be very fresh.

The Lakewood Division of Aging and Hospice of the Western Reserve are pleased to offer the first in a series of quarterly bereavement workshops.  "New Beginnings" will offer helpful tips and coping strategies for dealing with those feelings.  There will also be plenty of time to share and receive encouragement from people in your group, who really do understand.  "New Beginnings" is not a support group.  There is no long-term commitment.  We are just planning on occasional meetings through the year, where people will be able to reconnect and share thoughts and feelings.  Coffee and refreshments will be served.

We will be meeting at the Lawther Center, 16024 Madison Ave., on Thursday, January 25th at 1:00 PM.  Call the Division of Aging Activities Office at 216-529-5005 for more information or to reserve your seat.
