Hospice 101 At The Lakewood Division Of Aging

While some of us have had experience with hospice through friends or family, for many of us, this is one of those rather mysterious topics that we know all too little about. However, as they say, Knowledge is power, so why not take some time to become informed on this extremely important subject.

Hospice of the Western Reserve and the Lakewood Division of Aging are pleased to offer "Hospice 101," a brief overview of this treasured resource. This presentation will explain what hospice is, the services they provide and how they help individuals and families in need, who is eligible and how it gets paid for. These are all vital pieces of information that will ease the process, should the need arise.

Hospice 101 will be offered on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 12:30 PM, at the Division of Aging's Senior Center East meal site, located at 12400 Madison Ave. The presentation will be held in the first floor dining Room, accessed off of Ridgewood Ave. For more information or to register for this talk, please call the Activities Office at 216-529-5005.
