Enhance your child’s education by making learning fun and different with imaginative programs that focus on science, technology, engineering, art, and math. These programs are funded by a $2,500 Cox Community Charity Grant awarded to the Lakewood Public Library for this purpose. Registration required. Space is limited. Jr. Robotics JungleBOT Express – For students entering 2nd – 4th grade. Lego® WeDo Robots join together with Mowgli from the Jungle Book! Work with a partner to build and program your adventure. 2 Days to Choose From: Friday, June 23 OR Friday, July 21 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Main Library First Floor Multipurpose Room.

LEGO® Minions – For students entering 1st – 4th grade. Build a minion mosaic with Lego® bricks! Tuesday, July 18 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Main Library First Floor Multipurpose Room.

Magical Menagerie Jr. Video Game Creation – For students entering 1st – 3rd grade. Learn how to make your own video games with Scratch, a free development program from MIT. Bring a flash drive to save your progress and continue the fun at home. 2 Days to Choose From: Friday, June 9 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Main Library First Floor Multipurpose Room OR Friday, July 14 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Madison Branch Auditorium.
