Shabbat In The Park Open To Community

jHUB, an initiative which provides interfaith couples and families new ways to comfortably explore, discover, and personalize the meaning of Jewish culture and values in our modern world, is offering Shabbat in the Park on Friday, June 23rd from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lakewood Park. For this potluck dinner jHUB will provide an entrée, drinks, and crafts for kids, and attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share.

“Shabbat is a special time when we unplug from the busy work week and take time to reflect on the priorities in our lives. It is a wonderful time to connect with family and friends and we hope that by offering this unique experience in Lakewood Park, interfaith families will join us to learn about and celebrate Shabbat while meeting new friends and enjoying good food,” said Rabbi Melinda Mersack, Director.

The event is free. Registration is required at www.eventbrite.com/e/shabbat-in-the-park-lakewood-tickets-34704699691 or by contacting Danya Shapiro, jHUB Family Program Manager, at dshapiro@jecc.org or 216-371-0446. To learn more about jHUB, visit www.jhubcle.org
