West Shore Culinary Student Takes Top State Award

Congratulations to West Shore Career-Tech Culinary Arts student Jessica Bohannon, who won first place in the 2017 Ohio FCCLA State Creative Cake Competition. Jessica created a chocolate butter cake with raspberry jam, white chocolate mousse, vanilla buttercream and a swirled mirror glaze and gum paste flowers. Jessica's win earned her a $1,000 scholarship to Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, where she will attend in the fall.
