Sweet Dreams: Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Stuffed animals enjoy reading classic children's books.

Do your kids ever ask what happens in the Library after hours? (No, the librarians do not sleep there.) You and your 4 to 7-year-old children are invited to join us for a Stuffed Animal Sleepover storytime on Wednesday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m. in the Main Library Activity Room.

For 45 fun-filled minutes, little ones and their favorite stuffed animals will enjoy a special story time and create “dreamy” crafts. Kids then kiss their cuddly friends good night and leave them at the Library for a sleepover and more fun and games.

The good times continue on Thursday, June 1 from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. when children return to pick up their bedtime buddies, watch a silly slideshow of the fun their furry friends had with other stuffed animals the night before, and receive something special to remember the occasion.

If your children have ever wondered what goes on in the Library at night when it is closed, then this is their chance to get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek through the eyes of their stuffed animal friend. Space is limited and registration is required.

To register for the Stuffed Animal Sleepover or to learn more about other youth programs and activities, stop by the Children’s and Youth Services desk at the Main Library, call (216) 226-8275, ext. 140 or visit www.lakewoodpubliclibrary.org/youth and click on the yellow Register for Programs box.
