“We are Family” Summer Reading Club Starts
For birth through those entering twelfth grade

Read 30 books, 30 chapters, or 30 hours and enjoy crafts, stamps, and activities all while reading for prizes!  Registration required.

Monday, May 15 through Monday, August 7 at Main Library and Madison Branch.

LEGO® Construction Challenge
For youth in kindergarten through fifth grade (caregivers welcome)

Team up or go solo building something special for our community display, then hop over to our Tallest Tower and Best Bridge challenges. Registration required.

Saturday, May 20, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Main Library First Floor Multipurpose Room.

Lakewood LEGO® League

For youth in kindergarten through fifth grade (caregivers welcome)

Use LPL’s collection of Lego® Bricks and your own imagination to create fabulous new structures and designs each month. No registration, but numbered tickets will be given out first-come, first-served.

Sunday, May 21, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Main Library Activity Room.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover
For you and your 4 to 7-year old child

This special two-day event involves a storytime and craft, then the stuffed animals are left behind for a special sleepover that the kids will get to experience through a silly slideshow the next day. Registration required.

Wednesday, May 31, 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. in the Main Library Activity Room and Thursday, June 1, 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. in the Main Library First Floor Multipurpose Room.
