Yin Tang Dance Performs At Lakewood Public Library

In celebration of Chinese New Year, Yin Tang Dance will perform traditional Chinese dances on Saturday, January 28 at 2 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium. Under the direction of Yin Tang, the dance company is the premier Chinese dance company in Cleveland.

Traditional Chinese dance mimics the movements of the goddesses, but each region in China has its own dances. Arrayed in beautiful traditional costumes, the Yin Tang Dancers will showcase dances from various regions of China.

This special afternoon performance will emphasize not only traditional Chinese movement, but will also highlight Chinese geography, history and culture. Admission is free and open to all, and all ages are welcome to attend.
