The Lark of the Clans, Ginger Ackley… Celtic with a Twist.

Come connect with the magical past and the lessons that we need to remember through Ginger Ackley’s Celtic music with a twist. Dubbed “Lark of the Clans” by her musical Renaissance Faire friends, Ackley brings her ethereal autoharp and whistles to share as part of Lakewood Public Library’s Sunday with the Friends.

A Texas native now living in Ohio, Ginger has taken her passion for music, combined it with a love of history and tradition, and melded all into a delightful Celtic folk style.  Traveling the world, performing at faires and festivals, Ginger has shared the stage with such as Aoife Clancy, the Brobdingnagian Bards and Red McWilliams.

Join us at the Lakewood Public Library Main Auditorium on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., and be prepared to laugh, cry and clap along. As Ginger herself states: “Music is a participative sport!”
