Tri-C Focuses on Fitness Strategies for Seniors

The Westshore Campus of Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) will examine fitness training strategies for seniors as part of its free “Learning for Life” lecture series at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19.

The program — “Never Grow Old Fitness” features Paul O’Donoghue, a personal trainer and certified Functional Aging Specialist. He and his wife, Mary, will discuss the Functional Aging Training model.

The training regimen emphasizes flexibility, balance, agility, reaction, cognition and power to help older adults stay physically fit.

The lecture is free and open to the public, with no reservation required. The event will take place in Room 112 at Westshore Campus, located at 31001 Clemens Road in Westlake. Parking is free.
