Judy Crawford Pays Tribute To Patsy Cline

Patsy Cline (Virginia Patterson Hensley) is one of the major female vocalists of all time. She was born on September 8, 1932 in Winchester, Virginia. From birth, Cline was gifted with a natural talent. She started performing for her neighbors at a very young age. She never learned how to read music, yet she taught herself piano around the age of eight. Her enchanted voice attracted millions to her music. Cline’s greatest hits made their debut between 1955 and 1963. Her albums were among the best selling in the United States.

Vocalist Judy Crawford will be performing Cline’s greatest hits here at Lakewood Public Library Main Branch. She has performed at many libraries across Ohio. Her acclaimed voice coach graduated from Oberlin College. Let’s relive those country songs here at Lakewood Public Library Auditorium on Sunday, July 24th at 2 p.m.
