Teacher Appreciation Week, "Thank you"

The Lakewood Teachers Association would like to thank the PTAs of the Lakewood City Schools. Nationally, Teacher Appreciation week is observed from May 2nd through May 7th. Locally, the PTAs of all  schools at all levels went above and beyond to ensure the teachers and staff of the Lakewood City Schools felt appreciated. We were humbled by the kind words and gestures, and thoroughly enjoyed the yummy breakfasts/lunches and 'surprises' throughout the week. The members of the Lakewood Teachers Association would like to publicly thank each and every student, parent, and community member for a wonderful week. We are fortunate to work in a community that supports its public schools and for that we are ever thankful. We proudly serve the Lakewood City Schools, "our families" and the Lakewood Community. VernaAnn Kotansky resides in Lakewood with her husband and 2 daughters. She is employed by the Lakewood City School District as the Assisitive Technology Specialist.
