Minecraft Event In Lakewood, Tickets Still Available

Minecraft fun is coming to Northeast Ohio for the area’s first-ever Minecraft convention. Lincoln MINES provides families from around the region with five hours of hands-on gaming, Minecraft kids talks, crafts, science, and much more. The event is Saturday, November 14, 2015, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Harding Middle School (16601 Madison Ave.) in Lakewood, Ohio. Purchase Tickets online and at the event.

The Cox Connect 2Compete Main Stage features entertainment for all ages. Games Done Legit brings the excitement of Mario Super Smash Brothers Tournament Style. Mad Science digs deep into their laboratory to present Potions Magic. With special brewing stands, cauldrons, and glass bottles Mad Science will create magical potions and astound the audience with science. Get your groove on with deejay DB Toms during our Dance Party featuring Minecraft Parody Songs. You can shake rattle and roll your way to a good time. After all that dancing, you’re sure to want to purchase a snack from the food station.

Don’t know much about Minecraft, but you’ve been thinking about playing? Lincoln MINES is not just for the experts. We have several areas for learning about Minecraft and gaming. Kids Talks create a forum for novices to experts to talk Minecraft. Combat, Transportation, and Mods are a few of the Kids Talks topics for kids led by kids. Expand your knowledge of gaming through Listen Forums. Expert presenters discuss Toys to Life games, Minecraft for parents, internet safety, and Minecraft deep dives.

Minecraft Play sessions create four unique hands-on play experiences for the Minecraft PC Edition. Each gaming session focuses on essential skills for successful game play. Play continues with Snapology LEGO Building, Pokemon Training, and Games Done Legit’s Gamer Room. 

This event is sponsored in part by Cox Communications and presented by Lincoln Elementary PTA. Funds raised directly support PTA enrichment programs like teacher grants, extracurricular clubs, technology upgrades, field trips, and assemblies.
