Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra At The Lakewood Public Library

Thursday, February 18, 2015 in the Main Library Multipurpose Room

The Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra is a full symphonic ensemble comprised of approximately 100 young musicians drawn from 38 communities in 11 counties across Northern Ohio. The Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra (COYO) provides serious young music students of middle-high school age with a unique pre-professional orchestral training experience.

The Lakewood Public Library is privileged to host a free youth-oriented concert featuring COYO members and their Cleveland Orchestra coaches. Each instrument group will be represented (woodwinds, violins, violas, and cellos) and youth musicians will give a brief description and demonstration of their instruments.

All ages are welcome and no registration is required.
