LHS Girls Hoops Fundraiser
The Lakewood Girls basketball team is having a very solid season, off to a 9-4 start. The team is looking to defend its West Shore Conference title, and has only one league loss so far. Local basketball fans can help out this hard working bunch of kids by attending their upcoming fundraiser on January 31. The event will raise money for uniforms, equipment and camps.

TIME: 7-9 p.m.
LOCATION: Around the Corner, 18616 Detroit Avenue
COST: $20, which includes food and drink
