Nature’s Bin Welcomes New Executive Chef And Sous Chef

Nature's Bin Sous Chef, Jitra Post and Executive Chef, Michael Plachy

Nature’s Bin is excited to announce the appointment of their new Executive Chef, Michael Plachy and Sous Chef, Jitra Neal Post. Chef Michael has over 10 years in kitchen operations and is experienced in menu planning, staff training, and sustaining a high level of quality and service. He comes to Nature’s Bin and Nature’s Bin Catering from Aramark where he prepared food at Foundation House located on the Cleveland Clinic Campus. Plachy executed both plated and buffet-style events, taught classes for the Clinic’s Lifestyle 180 program to reverse disease through diet and lifestyle change, and developed delicious new menu items and inviting plated presentations.

Sous Chef, Jitra Neal Post joins Nature’s Bin and Nature’s Bin Catering with 14 years of experience. Passionate about creating a distinctive and quality product that exceeds customers’ expectations, Sous Chef, Jitra is creative and versatile in all areas of the kitchen. Most recently she was responsible for preparing a variety of cheesecakes for a large bakery that supplied desserts to 70 restaurants in the St. Louis area and provided private baking classes while living in Missouri. She has a special interest in European influenced desserts and confections, artisan breads and scratch pizza.

Nature’s Bin, a full service natural and organic foods market located in Lakewood, Ohio, is operated by the nonprofit, Cornucopia, Inc. Cornucopia offers unique and successful programs that provide vocational training leading to employment for people with disabilities. Cornucopia’s programs serve people with a wide range of disabilities including developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, visual, speech and hearing impairments, and injuries resulting from accident or illness.
