Summer Reading Club Starts
For youth birth through twelfth grade

It’s summer time, and that means lots of free time to read books and earn prizes along the way! Teens, we have some great prizes just for you. To register, please come to the Children’s & Youth Services desk at the Main or Madison Branch libraries.

Starts Monday, May 19 at 9:00 a.m. and ends Saturday, August 2 at 6:00 p.m.

Blind Date with a Book
For youth and teens

Blind Date with a Book lets you choose a new read sight-unseen. Come be part of a mystery as you never know what you may go home with – it could be a book you would never normally read but fate lets you fall in love with! When you’re done, rate your date online!

Tuesday, May 27 through Saturday, June 14 at the Main Library and Madison Branch.

Family Weekend Wonders

Make the Library a part of your family weekend time with programs featuring stories, activities, music and crafts. These free programs are offered every weekend throughout the year at both the Main Library and Madison Branch. No registration is needed. Check out our website (www.lakewoodpubliclibrary.org/youth) for times and upcoming themes.

Weekends With Wee Ones
For families with children under 2 years old

Spend a part of your family weekend time clapping your hands, tapping your feet, singing nursery rhymes and, of course, sharing books. We will provide materials and ideas for those wishing to continue the fun at home. Programs are offered every weekend throughout the year and there is no need to register in advance.

Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. and Sundays at 3:30 p.m.
