Chamber CEO Awarded Honorary NTHS Membership

The West Shore Career-Technical District (WSCTD) was honored to present Mrs. Patty Ryan, CEO and President of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce with an honorary membership in the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) at its annual Student Recognition and Career Passport Assembly on May 21st. Mrs. Linda Thayer, Educational Coordinator at WSCTD recognized Mrs. Ryan for her “enthusiastic dedication, service, and support of our students. The partnership between WestShore and the Lakewood Chamber and local businesses is a valued and important part of our career-technical curriculum. Mrs. Ryan has been a leader and advocate in the Lakewood community.” For the past 7 years, the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary has sponsored the Outstanding Work Ethic Award to recognize WestShore students for “demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, and integrity in the workplace.”
