Summer Reading Wraps Up

Thank you, Lakewood youth, for sharing your summer with the Library! This year we had a record 3,012 participants in our Summer Reading Club. 747 children completed the challenge, logging in thirty hours of reading (or thirty books for younger readers). Our end of the summer party was also a huge success—350 attendees enjoyed games, treats, and a special “soak the staff” event. It’s been such a blast we’re already looking forward to next summer.
