Tobin Northhrup, at his wit's end over medical bills and recovery from illness that has found him unable to work at Light Bistro, where he is a bartender, decided to do something about it and on this fine day set out a Cool Aid stand where he was selling cups of Kool-Aid for $1,000.00 a cup.

He set the stand up in front of his parents house in Lakewood, and proceeded to offer not just Kool-Aid for Cool-Aid, but in exotic flavors like Slammin' Strawberry-Kiwi. -
Tobin offers me a couple hundred dollars of the expensive beverage. Hmmmmmm I have to say, it was pretty damn refreshing. I asked him how much he needed to raise to pay off his bills. He said, "30-40 glasses." I asked if he had that many glasses in the container, and he said he had another pack or two back in the house in case he got busy.
