  • The event featured 38 different "stations" throughout the school grounds, each with a different activity. Groups of freshmen rotated among the stations throughout the evening.

  • Mr. Stemm's swordfighting station was a popular stop.

  • Mr. Stemm teaches Modern & Classical Languages

  • Each freshmen had a chance to face Mr. Stemm with a variety of nerf-style "weapons".

  • Each station had a different challenge..the kids could earn points for their group by competing in the various activities.

  • Here Mr. Stemm explains the rules to a newly-arrived group.

  • If hit on the leg, a competitor had to "take a knee" to simulate losing a limb.

  • Another station involved trying field goals on the football field.

  • There was even an old-fashioned "bell-ringing" carnival game.

  • How many freshmen can stand on top of this pad?

  • They're trying to get 13 on there.

  • "Put the smaller guys in the middle!"

  • They made it, albeit just for a moment.

  • Group hug!

  • Field goal fun....

  • Principal Frank O'Linn, ever the good sport, sits in the dunk tank.

  • Mr. O'Linn stayed pretty dry!

  • There were also activities indoors. This group is shooting free throws on one of the basketball courts.
