A Day at the Races with LHS Track 4/8/17

The LHS girls track team hosted a meet this morning with John Marshall High School and the JV team from St. Joseph Academy. The day was highlighted by Ranger Junior Jordan Robinson, who broke the school record in the 100 meter dash for the second time this week. On Wednesday she ran a 12.55, and this morning she did 12.15 (with no tailwind). The previous record (12.65) was set by April Yachanin in 1999. Head Coach Stephanie Toole is optimistic that she may be able to break the 12 second mark by the end of the season.
